It appears that no time has passed at all, yet in the blink of an eye, a dead eye-12 years are gone and unbeknownst to Winter everything has changed. It's that truly the way of things, so many things change when we are lost in grief and hiding from the world. This is what Winter is facing in Almost Dead, book 3 of the Beautiful Dead series. But more then change in the people and undead around her are the changes to the world. It is once again coming to life. The great question is what does that mean for Winter and the other undead.
This story picks up right where book two left you hanging and boy does it carry on! This book was as fantastic as the previous two and aside from the nasty spiders I could not put it down! I have absolutely loved this series and I was utterly heart broke to have it end. Winter's story is by far my favorite series of the year so far and I just can't help but wish it did not have to end. But that is the way of things. I especially loved the very end and the "extra" that the author added to the story. It gave me a bit of comfort.
But seriously can I just add if you read one series this year and you love fantasy/paranormal stories, move this to the top of your list and read it!!
